Ephesians 4:8 Wherefore He said, When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive,
A few days ago I woke up very early in the morning, and the Lord spoke and said, He led captivity captive. This is a Passage often misunderstood.
After Jesus was crucified for the sin of the entire world, He descended into the lower parts of the earth and broke every chain off all those believers who had been held captive there since they died. He set them all free and took them all to Heaven, where they are today and forever will be! Every hold the enemy had on them was broken once and for all, and no one will ever spend a single day there again.
For us who are alive today, this is our assurance that Jesus is our Deliverer. It is our faith in Him and what He did on the Cross that will deliver us from all sin, sickness, disease, and bondage of the enemy.
When we fully understand what Jesus accomplished in the spiritual realm that day, we can live in total Freedom from then on; in this life and forever! He broke every chain off every single believer. That includes you if you are a truly born-again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.
At Betts Ministries, we seek the Anointing of God because we long to see people set free from the bondage of Satan. The Word of God tells us that it is the Anointing that breaks the yoke. (Isaiah 10:27) Nothing else on earth can break those chains and cause them to fall except the Anointing of God. Doctors, psychiatrists, therapists, prescription drugs, or any other scheme of man cannot set the captive free. They may mean well, but their good intentions are all in vain.
It is Jesus who led captivity, captive. No one else had (or has) the power to do this. Whatever it is that is holding you captive is a spiritual matter, and it must be dealt with spiritually.
If you find yourself bound in any way, seek the Power of the Holy Spirit to set you free. If you are not totally at Peace in every area of your life, the Lord is waiting to meet you right where you are and set you free! Hallelujah! Only God can do this. You don't have to live another day in bondage.
Only God can…….turn the tide .……...in your life.
