As the Apostle Paul continues describing God’s Pattern for the Church, he presents a strong warning to God’s people: that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
When the Church functions according to the Pattern God set forth, believers will grow in their faith and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. They will be equipped for Work in the Ministry. They will be edified and encouraged to fulfill their part in the Ministry and with every passing day, they will willingly decrease within themselves so the Lord may increase in them. (John 3:30)

False teaching and doctrines are prevalent in the church today because the people sitting in the pews have not been properly taught and discipled. Unfortunately, many Church leaders focus on themselves and building their personal empire instead of what the Word of God instructs, which is to build disciples of Christ in the Kingdom of God.
When we equip and edify believers to do the Work of the Ministry, they should step out in the Ministry God has called them to. That means they may no longer sit in the same pew every week and continue to be a baby sheep in someone’s flock.
God wants every believer to grow and mature in their faith. He has a plan for EVERY life ever created. God never intended for the Church to be a group of people who come together on a regular basis and sit in a building and occasionally do some good deeds. On the contrary, God is seeking people who will seek Him first in their lives and have a desire to grow daily in their faith and walk with Him. These are those whom He will Call to be Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers.
It is the responsibility of the Church to equip and edify every sheep in the flock to the Work of the Ministry. Any other teaching is not of God and is deception.
Do not be deceived my friends. The Lord has a Plan for you and perhaps, a Calling! Read and study the Word of God. Let it be your Standard for living. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and God will bless you so much you will not be able to count it all. Hallelujah!
Be encouraged today to be all you can be in Christ. On your own, you are nothing, but in Him the possibilities for your life are endless!
