Psalms 94:20-21 Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You? They gather together against the life of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.

 

As we approach another election cycle in America, the question put forward by the author of the 94th Psalm is quite appropriate: Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You?

 

Whether we like it or not, we are subject to our rulers and the laws of the land. The people, whom we elect to public office, make the laws we must live by. Many of the laws on the books today are not in accordance with the Word of God. Therefore, Christians and moral people don’t much like them.

 

Psalms 94:21 says it perfectly: They gather together against the life of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.

 

Public officials who are not believers in the Word of God give no credence to Him as they make decisions and write the laws that we must adhere to. Rather, they rule against righteous living and have no respect for human life.

 

We are now living the results of such ungodly lawmakers, which are legalized abortion, same sex marriage, transgenderism, and euthanasia. All these practices come against life.  Abortion and euthanasia are both murder. Same sex marriage and transgenderism will NEVER result in life.  All these things are demonic in nature and are a result of the evil spirit of death operating in our society.

 

This IS NOT what America is about. We have been a nation of freedom, liberty, and life since our beginning. There is a faction in this country that has been trying to change this since about 1960. They have done everything they can to desensitize Americans to these evil practices, and I am sad to say, they have succeeded to a great extent.

 

What used to be seen as horrid and totally unacceptable is now commonplace and amusing. I'm sorry, my friends, but there is nothing amusing about murdering an unborn baby, telling someone God created them a homosexual, or telling a child they are not the gender God created them to be. 

 

PLEASE pray about the people you will be supporting in the upcoming elections. This includes your local elections of school board, city council, county seats, etc. If you proclaim to be a Christian, or if you believe God’s Word to be true and righteous, then you MUST take those Godly Principles into the voting booth and vote accordingly.

 

We MUST make some changes in this nation, and we must do it quickly. There is no time to waste. This is URGENT! Now is the time to pray and seek God as you make your voting decisions. We must take a stand for God and vote for life and liberty, or we will have no opportunity for the pursuit of happiness.

 

When we vote good, believing Christians into public office, we will have the righteousness of God representing us. I don’t know about you, but that’s what I want.

 

Taking a stand for God will……….turn the tide
