Romans 13:11-12 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, The Day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the Armor of Light. 

 

My friends, it’s high time Christians wake up out of their spiritual sleep and understand we are living in the Last Days. We MUST be prepared to fight the good fight as God’s Soldiers of the Cross. We see the darkness of the enemy all around us. Our society has embraced this darkness, but the Word of God clearly directs God’s people to cast off the works of darkness and put on the Armor of Light.

 

Throughout history, God's Call on man has been to seek God, believe God, and trust Him implicitly. There is no time like the present to answer this Call. Time is short; very, very short. We must fight the good fight of Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We must stand in the streets and proclaim the Gospel of Christ, fearing not what the world may say or do. It’s time to be strong and lift up the Name of Jesus!

 

With every passing day we are one day closer to The Day of the Lord’s return. Are you ready? Is your household ready?

 

The enemy is not going to take this lying down. He won’t turn tail and run, fading out of sight. Like a confronted snake, he will rise up and strike! He will sneak up behind you and grab you when you are not watching. We must be forever watchful! We must be on guard at all times, and we must be prepared to defend the Cross of Christ at all costs.

 

Some people think they are fighting for their church or their family. Others believe the fight is for freedom of speech or religion in our country. NO! Our fight is for the Cross of Christ! Our duty is to defend it at all costs and never back down because without it, there is no freedom at all.

 

The Cross of Christ is the ONLY thing worth fighting for. Everything else hinges on it. Every freedom we have is founded in the Cross of Christ. Every Benefit and Blessing of God is a result of what Christ did on the Cross at Calvary. EVERYTHING!

 

The Cross of Christ brings freedom to anyone who chooses to believe. The Cross of Christ is what ensures our ongoing freedom. In every family, community or nation, where the Gospel of Christ is freely preached and believed, we find freedom and democracy.

 

Where the Gospel is outlawed and false religion rules, we find dictatorship, communism and oppression. The Gospel of Christ is the only way to freedom. It MUST stand, and it’s up to God’s people to wake up, rise up, put on the full Armor of God and lift up the Name of Jesus everywhere!

 

The world needs Jesus. Everyone needs Jesus. In this world of darkness, He is the Light! As soldiers of the Cross, we must send the Light. That is the calling on our lives. Will YOU answer the call? 

 

The Light of the Gospel of Christ will…….turn the tide
