Psalm 3:1 Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me.
Have you ever felt like you were out-numbered by the enemy? Given the current spiritual climate in America, do you feel like that today? Many Christians do, but what does the Word of God say?
Lord, how they have increased who trouble me!
Many are they who rise up against me.
Many are they who say of me,
“There is no help for him in God.”
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
I cried to the Lord with my voice,
And He heard me from His Holy Hill.
I lay down and slept;
I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people
Who have set themselves against me all around.
Arise, O Lord;
Save me, O my God!
For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone;
You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
Salvation belongs to the Lord.
Your blessing is upon Your people.
This is the Word of God. It is faithful and true. Although the enemy rises up against God’s people, he will not prevail because our God is greater! As we stand strong in the full Armor of God and claim the Promises of God, we will know Victory! Jesus won that Victory for us on the Cross two thousand years ago on a Hill called Calvary. There, He defeated the enemy.
We must understand that God is far, far greater than any demon of Hell. We must not be afraid. God did not give us the spirit of fear but of POWER, LOVE AND A SOUND MIND! Put on your Helmet of Salvation that will guard and protect the Sound Mind you have been blessed with. With a Sound Mind we can exercise the Power and Love we need to proceed through this life and fulfill the Calling of God on us.
We have all been called to be soldiers of the Cross. To lift up the Name of Jesus and declare to the world that He is the Son of God who gave His Life on the Cross that we may live! Hallelujah!
Fear not, for I am with thee! (Isaiah 41:10)
