John 3:16 For God so loved the world, He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
God loves the people of the world so much gave His Only Son to be the Sacrifice for every person who shall ever live. We are unable to comprehend that kind of Love. It is the Love of the Heavenly Father. What a Benefit!
The entire Bible is the Story of the Cross of Christ. From Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21, it points to Jesus Christ and the Cross where God made a way for all to be saved. God wants everyone to be saved.
When we fully understand that Jesus’ Sacrifice on the Cross was for us personally, we can’t help but repent. Jesus took the beating and crucifixion we deserve. What more could it take for a person to fall on their face before Him in true repentance and gratitude? He, who was without sin, bore our pain. He took our punishment. He did it all for us because He loves us so much. God wants every person to understand this and be set free from the snare of the enemy.
During Jesus’ life as a man on earth, He declared Himself to be the Son of God. He proved this time and time again through Miracles, Signs and Wonders but His Crucifixion on the Cross and His Resurrection from the dead was the ultimate proof of who He was. The Bible is true history, my friends. It’s not just a collection of stories told down through the generations. It’s TRUE! Every Word is TRUE and inspired by God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
When we allow this Truth to speak to our spirit being and we truly believe, our soul will change, and we will have a completely new mindset and thought patterns. This new mind and thoughts will direct our body to act completely differently. We will become more like Him! Hallelujah!
We will be able to forgive those that have hurt us. We can put aside all bitterness and walk in love toward everyone. We will stop believing lies because we are filled with the Holy Spirit of Truth. That’s why being saved is referred to as “saving our soul.” When the soul is saved and changed, everything else changes too. This begins the process of Sanctification which is a lifelong work, continuing until the Lord God calls us home.
In the meantime, we can live the abundant life Jesus spoke of. Our cup truly runs over with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Every deed of the enemy is cast out! Every evil thought is overturned. Every sin has been forgiven and cast into the sea of forgetfulness. Every morning brings new Mercy and Joy. Every day the Lord reveals more understanding of His Truth as we seek Him in a greater way.
Yes, God made a Way for every person on earth to live the abundant life and spend eternity in Heaven. That Way has a name. His Name is Jesus Christ. He went to the Cross so you don’t have to. Believe that today and your soul will be saved. When that happens, you will be a new creation, born again! Praise God you have seen the Light!
