A Way Out

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

God loves and cares about every single soul. He always gives His people a way out prior to destruction. Through our study of Peter’s message on the Day of Pentecost some 2,000 years ago, we find that Peter boldly spoke the Words the Holy Spirit gave him to speak. His message that day was a call to Repentance and it was delivered to thousands of Jews who had just crucified Jesus Christ, their own Messiah.

God sees the whole picture of all of time in one view. That is hard for us to comprehend, but it is true. He knew of the devastation that was soon to come upon Jerusalem. He knew that in less than 40 years the entire city and the Temple would be destroyed by the Romans and that more than one million of them would be killed in the carnage.

God wanted every one of them to repent and come to Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. That’s why He gave Peter the message to speak that day. There was a great move of God that day. Approximately 3,000 Jews believed the words Peter spoke. They repented of their sins and were saved by the Grace of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!

These 3,000 fled the Jewish religion and joined the group of believers. They became part of the First Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every one of their lives was spared when the Tenth Roman Legion, led by General Titus, came and destroyed Jerusalem.

It all happened exactly as the Word of God said it would. It always does and history proves it out over and over again. Yet, people still don’t believe. There were hundreds of thousands of Jews present that day. They all heard the same message but only 3,000 were saved.

I will close this Morning Message exactly as it began. God loves and cares about every single soul. He always gives His people a way out prior to destruction. My friends, destruction is coming again. It won’t be long now. Read the Bible. Pray for understanding of its content. The Word of God is true. The Rapture of the Church is at hand. Please, repent and be saved. Please, share the Gospel of Christ with your family and friends. What is coming is far worse than anything in all of history.

God has once again made a way out for His people. He will continue to do so until that final moment when it will be too late. As Peter said, Save yourself from this perverse generation.

It is the Will of God that all be saved but each of us must make that decision for ourselves. He has given us all freewill to make decisions. We can choose to believe in Christ or not. Don’t wait another day. Tomorrow could be too late.

God will very soon……….turn the tide

I choose to believe,         Doreen
