Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect Peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

 

Our thoughts become feelings. Feelings become beliefs and our beliefs dictate how we operate in life. Other than natural reflexes, what we say and do begins with what we think. This is both a natural law and a spiritual law.

 

Whatever you truly believe about yourself, in time, you will become it. Jesus spoke to this subject in Mark 11:24. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have.

 

There is a big difference between believing God for His Promises and the “Name It and Claim It” teaching that is so prevalent today. To name it and claim it is to put demands on God and that is never a good idea. God wants us to trust Him not demand Him to act.

 

When we hear the Voice of God confirming what we have read in the Word of God, we can believe it to be true. Sometimes we will also hear more confirmation from another Preacher or read it in another Christian book. God definitely uses confirmation to cause us to believe Him. When confirmation becomes apparent to us, we respond in faith and action knowing that God has spoken to us. This is always amazing and it will boost our faith!

 

The bottom line is, God loves you. He knows your name. He knows everything about you. He wants the very best for you. He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the Cross for the forgiveness of your sins. He wants you to live an Abundant Life here on earth. He has gifted you and called you to a specific ministry. He wants to use you to build His Kingdom. He wants you to trust Him. He will direct your path in life. He will by no means harm you. AND……..He has prepared a place for you in Heaven where you will spend eternity with Him!

 

All this has already been done. All you have to do is believe it!

 

When you do, God will……….turn the tide……..in your life.
