Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.
Yesterday, we determined that God does read our minds. He knows our every thought. Nothing is hidden from Him not even our innermost thoughts. Therefore, we would be well advised to seek the help of the Holy Spirit to transform our minds.
The Apostle Paul wrote And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect Will of God. (Romans 12:2)
The Holy Spirit will work in the process of transforming our minds, but we must be willing for this to happen. Solomon wrote Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established. (Proverbs 16:3)
God can do anything in our lives but He requires repentance and commitment on our part. If there is a part of you that you know is not pleasing to God, give it to Him. Surrender that thing to Him and the Holy Spirit will take over and transform it into that which is good and acceptable to God. That’s His job and He can do it!
Anything that is not pleasing to God, is sin. Jesus shed His Perfect Blood on the Cross of Calvary for ALL sin. He gained Victory over every sin for everyone who will choose to believe. That means that anything which is not pleasing to God (sin) has already been dealt with and defeated by Jesus on the Cross. So, we don’t have to be bothered by it anymore when we keep our faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross.
Whatever it is that torments you, Jesus already defeated it on the Cross. It doesn’t matter what it is or how awful it is. Jesus died for all sin and He defeated the power of the enemy in our lives. Sin shall not have dominion over you. (Romans 6:14)
If you believe Jesus died on the Cross for all sin then that includes that thing that you struggle with. No matter what it is, Jesus died for it. He paid the price for ALL sin. You don’t have to struggle with it any longer. Just believe that Jesus defeated it on the Cross. You can believe it because it’s true!
Remember what we have been discussing for the last week? You are what you think and you think what you believe. So, if you believe Jesus died for ALL sin then walk out that faith in your life and watch that thing just fall off you like an old coat. This is WHY Jesus died on the Cross. Hallelujah!
Faith in Christ Crucified will……..….turn the tide...........in your life!
Thank you Jesus! Doreen
