Isaiah 38:17 Indeed it was for my own peace that I had great bitterness; but You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, for You have cast all my sins behind Your back.
Each and every Benefit included in God’s Blessings for His children is utterly magnificent. FORGIVENESS. Where would we be without it? Lost, dying, guilt ridden and headed for eternity in Hell. HEALING. Oh my! Without the Healing touch of God on our lives, none of us would live to be even one year old. DELIVERANCE. The Divine Ministry of Deliverance is one that picks us up and transplants us from life in the kingdom of darkness into the beautiful Kingdom of Light. Deliverance is the Transforming Power of God to bind up and cast out demonic spirits and their evil influence in our lives.
Like Forgiveness and Healing, Deliverance comes to us by way of our faith in the shed Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. He went to the Cross of Calvary to defeat the power of the enemy in our lives. Jesus did not destroy Satan or any of the fallen angels. He did not do away with a single demonic spirit, BUT He did defeat the power they have in the lives of those who trust in the FACT that He was successful to do this. Again, like Forgiveness, Healing and Deliverance come to us by way of our faith in what Jesus accomplished on Crucifixion Day.
If you BELIEVE Jesus died on the Cross for your Forgiveness, Healing and Deliverance, you will walk in that faith every day. This daily walk is Abundant Life. (John 10:10) If you only believe that He died for Forgiveness, that’s all you will have. If you don’t believe Healing is included in the Atonement, you will not receive Healing. Likewise, those who don’t believe Jesus defeated the power of the enemy over us, they will not be able to be rescued from the pit of destruction.
Everything we receive from God is based on what we believe Jesus accomplished on the Cross. That which we believe is included in our personal Benefit Package of Blessings. The more we believe, the more we will have. Unfortunately, many denominations do not preach and teach of the Ministry of Healing and Deliverance. Therefore, the people sitting under that teaching don’t believe it so they never receive it because they don’t know it’s available to them. This, my friends, is a travesty.
Jesus suffered and died a horrible death on the Cross to deliver us from the pit of corruption. Life in the pit is not Abundant Life. Life where sin has dominion and control over you is not Abundant Life. A life of pain, poverty and sorrow is not Abundant Life. Everything God has for us is good. If it’s not good, it’s not from God and it is not included in the Abundant Life Jesus died for us to have.
David was one of the most charismatic characters in the Bible. He committed some horrible sins and spent a lot of time in the pit. However, David also knew and BELIEVED God would raise him up out of that pit and DELIVER him from the kingdom of darkness. He wrote about this. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. (Psalm40:2)
This is Deliverance and only God can accomplish this in our lives. Everyone needs to be brought up out of the pit of sin and destruction. We all need it and God wants us all to be Delivered from the pit. He made a way for that to happen. One Way: Faith in Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. There is no other way. We need no other way. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the father but by Me. (John 14:6)
Jesus died to.……….turn the tide………..in your life. That’s Deliverance!
