John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

 

I cannot begin to impress upon you enough the importance of reading and studying the Bible. There is nothing on earth more valuable than the Holy Word of God. It is the Words of God Almighty, the Creator of the universe, to you. Take a moment to meditate on that. God wrote that entire Book just for you! Why? Because He loves you and wants you to be Saved, born again, and spend all of eternity in Heaven with Him.

 

When Jesus walked this earth as a man, He spoke to the people. He taught them all about Himself, His Father, and His Father’s plan for their lives. He taught them everything they needed to know for life and godliness. As His Divine Power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the Knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue. (2 Peer 1:3)

 

Everything Jesus taught the people then is written in the Bible for us today. While we are unable to sit directly under the Anointed Teaching of Jesus, in a way, we have something better. We have the Holy Spirit of God dwelling within us all the time!

 

In the time of Jesus’ Ministry on earth, only those within the sound of His Voice could actually hear Him. Not so with us! We have His Words in written form AND we have the Holy Spirit to Teach us what it all means. What could be better than that?

 

Jesus taught about this and the Apostle John wrote it down. However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. (John 16:13-15)

 

The Holy Spirit is our Teacher and Guide through life. The people sought after Jesus and clamored to be near Him. We don’t have to do that. We have His Spirit dwelling inside us! We have continual, 24/7 access to the Holy Spirit of God! What more do you want?

 

The Spirit of God will Guide you into all truth. He will never lead you astray. He will Teach you everything you need to know. He hears directly from the Father and repeats every Word to you verbatim! That means, word for word without changes or additions. What you hear from the Holy Spirit is spoken to you directly from your Heavenly Father Who is the Creator of the entire universe. He is your direct connection to God, the Father! Hallelujah!

 

Again I ask you: What more do you want? What could be better than that? Jesus said, Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. Be still and listen for the Voice of the Holy Spirit. Heed His Teaching and Guidance because His Divine Power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.

 

 

That Still Small Voice will……….turn the tide……...in your life.
