Genesis 3:4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.”

 

From the days of Adam and Eve, Satan has worked hard to convince people that God does not mean what He says. Adam and Eve both knew what God said. In fact, when the serpent approached Eve on the subject, she repeated God’s Words. And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ” (Genesis 3:2-3)

 

Eve was well aware of what God had told them and yet, she believed the serpent. Nothing has changed to this day. Many people know what the Word of God says and yet, they believe what the enemy says to them.

 

A most common example of this in the world today is the sin of homosexuality. The Word of God is perfectly clear about this. It is more than a sin, it is an abomination!

 

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. (Leviticus 18:22)

 

If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. (Leviticus 20:13)

 

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, or adulterers, or men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the Kingdom of God.

(1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

 

Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. (Jude 1:7)

 

Throughout the entire Word of God, homosexuality is referred to as an abomination. There is no question about it and yet, people believe the lies of the enemy who tell them that God does not really mean what He says.

 

God DOES mean what He says, my friends. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What was an abomination then is still an abomination today. Satan is a liar. Just as he lied to Eve in the Garden of Eden, he is lying to us today. Do not be deceived. Believe what God says.

 

 

The Truth will……….turn the tide……….in this world!
