Ezekiel 37:4-6 Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the Word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.

 

The Remnant of the Body of Christ in America is praying. Much of our population is no more than dry bones; spiritually dead; without life. At some point, they turned away from God, closed His Book, and traded it for the ways of the world which leads to destruction every time. Now, they do not know what has happened or where to turn. They are lost; dead lost.

 

More often than not, it takes a major catastrophe to cause people to come to God or return to God. Many people in America are in such a place. The storm is raging around and people are trying to survive from day to day. Great storms bring fear but fear is not of the Lord. God has not given you the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.(2 Timothy 1:7)

 

In the midst of the storm, God stands ready to calm the storm, heal the sick, and restore life to the dead, dry bones. He is READY but the dry bones must RETURN to Him. Then He will RESTORE that which is dead. I believe God wants to RESTORE America. It is never His Will for His people to perish. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.(2 Peter 3:9)

 

To RETURN to God is to REPENT of our wrongdoing. America has done wrong and has much to repent for. Many have closed God’s Word and turned away from Him. Many have stopped proclaiming the Name of Jesus on our streets. We have the blood of millions of unborn babies on our hands. We have enabled ungodly, perverse lifestyles. We have failed to raise our children in the admonition of the Lord. Consequently, we are a country of dry, dead bones and the enemy has encroached upon our land.

 

However, we serve a God of Life and RESTORATION! God RESTORES that which is lost, broken and/or dead. RESTORATION is His business. This is what He does every day, all day long. He RESTORES life to the dead when people come or RETURN to Him. His Mercy endures forever. His Grace is sufficient.

 

America must RETURN to God. America is not the people in Washington DC or those who serve in your state building. America is you! America is me. America is…..We, the people; all of us. We, the people of the United States of America must RETURN to God and REPENT if we are to RECEIVE His Mercy and Grace and be RESTORED, RENEWED and. We have much to REPENT about.

 

God is waiting. Now is the time. God does not change. God is the same, yesterday, today and forever. The progression is the same as it always has been. RETURN; REPENT; RECEIVE; be RESTORED and experience REVIVAL and RENEWAL. God stands READY. All America has to do is RETURN to Him and REPENT. Are you ready?
