Edification Of The Saints
September 25, 2023, 3:00 AM

Ephesians 4:11-12 And He Himself gave some to be Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some Pastors and Teachers, for the equipping of the Saints for the Work of Ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ.

Yesterday we touched on the Anointing of God which is the Power of God to break the yoke of bondage off people. This is the purpose for which God gives us Gifts and Callings. God loves all people and it is His Will that every person come to Salvation. The Lord is not slack concerning His Promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

The Callings and Giftings of God are Anointed by Him for the sole purpose of edifying the Body of Christ. This is why we are born with certain gifts, talents, and abilities. God Almighty, the Creator of the entire Universe created each and every one of us. He has a Plan and a Purpose for every human being. He formed each of us exactly how He needs us to be with exactly what we need so that we may fulfill His Purpose for our lives. For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalms 139:13)

My friends, our lives are not about us. We were not created by the Most High God to live mundane lives full of sin. No! We are each created by God to be a citizen of His Kingdom and use all that He has created us with to draw others into His Kingdom. That, and that alone, is the Purpose for our existence. Just as it was with Queen Esther, we are here for such a time as this. (Esther 4:14)

With that understanding, we should live every minute of every day in full submission to the Will of God for us personally. His Will for your life is for you to use everything you were created with for Him and the furtherance of His Kingdom. You are who you are and are able to do what you do for the equipping of the Saints for the Work of Ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ. This is your sole purpose in life.

With that said, I feel led to ask you these questions. What are you doing with what you have been given? How are you using what you were born with? Reflect on these questions. God wants to use you in His Kingdom.

Submission to His Plan will……...….turn the tide……..in your life.

Fully submitted,         Doreen
