Romans 3:4 Being Justified freely by His Grace through the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
In the Apostle Paul’s writings, he uses the term in Christ Jesus seventy-five times. In Greek, this is en Christos. To receive Redemption, Justification, and Sanctification, we must remain in Christ Jesus.
Jesus said the same thing when He commanded that we abide in Him. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)
When we abide in Christ, we can enjoy that perfect Peace that surpasses all understanding. No one can fully understand this or describe it, but when you enter into the Peace of God, you know it. It’s unlike anywhere you have ever been before. It’s an overwhelming feeling of comfort, protection, healing, forgiveness, provision, security, serenity, tranquility, rest, acceptance and so much more. I don’t have the words to describe the Peace of God. Nothing in this world even comes close to it.
The Love of God is given to people through His Son, Jesus. He sent Jesus to live on earth as a man and die a cruel death on the Cross of Calvary so we, God’s children, can be Redeemed. All we have to do to receive this is believe in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary and maintain our faith there.
Sin is what separates us from our Heavenly Father, and the Blood of Christ is what Redeems us. When we are Redeemed and maintain our faith in Christ, we can experience that Perfect Peace all the time. This is the true Victory over sin that we have in Christ Jesus.
I believe this is the Abundant Life Jesus spoke about when He said I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
God sent Jesus to……….turn the tide……..in your life!
In Christ, Doreen
