Ezekiel Prophesy

Ezekiel 8:12  Then said he unto me, Son of man, have you seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the Lord sees us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth.

Let’s recap Ezekiel’s vision to this point.

1.  The day is 6 6 5.  One day before day 6 6 6 (the number assigned to the Antichrist).

2.  God drug Ezekiel by his hair to show him this Vision. (Righteous anger of God)

3.  Ezekiel saw the image of jealousy blocking the Brazen Altar, the place of Sacrifice. (the Cross)

4.  God took Ezekiel to the Door (Jesus) which was covered by a thick wall.

5.  God showed Ezekiel a small hole in the wall and told him to dig through the wall and find the Door. (Jesus)

6.  God showed Ezekiel that inside the Temple carvings of evil, wicked idols were on the walls.

7.  Seventy highly esteemed men, including Jaazaniah, were worshiping these idols.

This brings us to verse 12. Then said he unto me, Son of man, have you seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? For they say, the Lord sees us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth.

People do not believe God knows what they are doing in the dark and behind closed doors. They believe if the world cannot see them, God cannot either. Some believe it doesn’t matter what they do as long as they proclaim belief in Jesus. Nothing could be farther from the truth!

Jesus spoke the following words in Matthew 7:21  Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that does the Will of my Father which is in Heaven.

It DOES matter what we say and what we do. God knows everything that is done in the dark and behind closed doors. He also knows our thoughts and what goes on in the chambers of our imagery (what we imagine). Jesus spoke these Words in Matthew 5:28  But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

He loves us and stands ready to forgive us of all our sins, but we must repent. Repentance is not only asking forgiveness, but turning from our wicked ways and living every day in the Will of God.

The Prophesies of Old are coming to pass in our time. It won’t be long now. Stay in the Word of God. Repent and draw nearer to God than ever before, in these Last Days.

In God’s time, He will……..turn the tide

Drawing nearer,      Doreen
