2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My Grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
The Grace of God is sufficient for everything we need. The Grace of God is His Power to do anything. By the Grace of God, we are Forgiven, Saved, Healed, Delivered, Empowered, Taught, Guided by the Holy Spirit, and everything else that comes to us from God. Absolutely EVERYHING we receive from God comes to us by way of His Grace because we don’t deserve anything.
The reason we don’t deserve anything from God is because of the sin in our lives. The Cross of Christ is God’s Remedy for sin. Jesus went to the Cross to Atone for our sins. There would be no other reason for Him to have to endure such pain and suffering. He did it so we can be Forgiven by God the Father.
God required a Blood Sacrifice and Jesus willingly became that Sacrifice. God loves us enough to Sacrifice His Only Son for us and Jesus loves us enough to endure the pain, suffering, and death on the Cross of Calvary. For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but have Everlasting Life. (John 3:16) By the Grace of God, He did this for us because He loves us that much.
By the Grace of God, He sent Jesus to live as a man on Earth. By the Grace of God, He performed countless Miracles during His lifetime. His Virgin Birth, sinless life, and all Miracles never saved anyone. He did all these things to prove who He was; the Son of the Living God.
It was His Death on the Cross of Calvary that made Salvation possible for people. If Jesus had done everything else and not gone to the Cross, there would be no Redemption of sin for anyone. He had to shed His Perfect Blood on the Cross to make Atonement for sins.
Therefore, it is the Crucifixion of Christ that Redeems us from sin and death. It is also His Crucifixion that sets us free from the power of sin in our lives while we are alive. Sin shall not have dominion over you. (Romans 6:14)
Jesus said I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) Abundant life is not a life of sin. Abundant life is a life of Righteousness and through our faith in Christ and Him Crucified, we can live Abundant lives. We are not Righteous on our own. There is none Righteous, no not one. (Romans 3:10) But, we have the Righteousness of Christ. So that as sin reigned in death, even so Grace might reign through Righteousness to Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 5:21) When you dig deep into this Passage of Scripture, you find that the Grace of God in our lives is made possible by our faith in the Finished Work of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary.
Faith in Christ Crucified will…...….turn the tide……..in your life.
Thank you Jesus! Doreen
