Acts 3:16 And His Name through faith in His Name has made this man strong whom you see and know: Yea, the faith which is in Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
Everything we have is based on and subject to our faith in the Name of Jesus Christ. A name gives a person their identity. We know each other by our names. Thus we should also know our Savior and Lord by Name; His Name; the Name above all names; the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Jesus is a common name in the Hispanic culture. There are many people with this name BUT there is only ONE Jesus Christ of Nazareth. There is only ONE Man who is the Son of the Living God. There is only ONE Man who lived a Perfect Life on Earth. There is only ONE Man who willingly gave His Life on the Cross of Calvary that we may be set free from sin, shame, condemnation, death, and destruction.
Our faith in this Name; this Man, Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the ONLY thing that will cause our name to be written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life. We can have all the knowledge in the world but without faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary, we remain spiritually lost, dying, and headed for Hell.
God doesn’t send people to Hell. It is His Will that all be saved and spend eternity in Heaven. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the Truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4) People choose to spend eternity in Hell due to their rejection of the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and His Finished Work on the Cross.
We must believe it and place our faith in it. Faith in anything else results in death. ONLY faith in Christ and Him Crucified results in Life. This faith will set you free from all bondage. This faith will break every chain the enemy has draped around your neck. This faith will cause you to live your life in Peace, Joy, and Strength because of the Power of God and the Work of the Holy Spirit in you.
YOU are the Temple of God. Do you not know that you are the Temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16) Do you know this? Do you believe this? You are this because of what Jesus Christ of Nazareth did for you. He died on the Cross so you can be the Temple of God. He died on the Cross so you can have an intimate relationship with your Heavenly Father.
God has so much for you but you will receive nothing without faith in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Therein lies Salvation and the Power of God to do all things. There is no limit to what God can do IF we have the faith to believe!
