Faith In the Finished Work of Christ

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

The Holy Spirit is here with us to help us in every aspect of our lives. It doesn’t matter what the problem or situation is, the Holy Spirit will help us through it. That is His Purpose in our lives. Unfortunately, many Christians don’t seek His Help. I believe, for the most part, this is not out of rebellion but out of ignorance on their part. They simply don’t know because they have never been taught.

God’s Plan for every person on earth is to come to Repentance and be Saved and born again. God wants this for everyone but the Devil wants it for no one. Therein lies the spiritual battle inside every human being on earth. The thief comes but to kill, steal, and destroy, but I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

The Holy Spirit is at work in our lives long before we are saved and born again. We can all look back over our lives and remember times when He has saved us from sure death or gave us the exact words to say at just the right time.

I’m sure if you all wrote to me about these instances in your life, I could write about them for months. These things are all part of your testimony. Most people believe their testimony is just about the day they gave their heart to Jesus. While that is by far the most important part, it is by no means the only part.

When we first heard the Gospel preached and felt the conviction in our hearts, that was the Holy Spirit of God drawing us to Repentance. That still small voice we hear is not the Voice of Jesus, it is the Voice of the Holy Spirit. He is our Helper. He is our Teacher, Healer, Guide, Counselor, and Advocate.

Through our faith in Jesus and His Finished Work on the Cross of Calvary, we are Redeemed and Justified in the eyes of God. Jesus is the Way to God. He is the Door to everything God has for us. Without faith in Jesus, we have nothing but when we maintain our faith in all that Jesus did for us on the Cross of Calvary, we have access to everything God has for us and it all comes to us by way of the Holy Spirit of God. Hallelujah!

Continual faith in Christ Crucified will……….turn the tide……….in your life.

Thank you Jesus!        Doreen
