Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please Him.

 

To say that without faith it is impossible to please God would mean that WITH faith we DO please God. Our Heavenly Father wants us to trust Him in everything because He is able to do anything. With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

 

If we believe that all things are possible with God, then we should be able to lay every burden, concern, worry, and situation at His Feet BELIEVING that He will handle the situation. Faith is really all that God requires of us and anything other than faith in Christ Crucified is sin. For that which is not of faith, is sin. (Romans 14:23)

 

This is a very convicting Passage of Scripture because we all have situations in our lives that we try to remedy ourselves. When we do this, we are not operating in faith in God. I am not saying that we are to spend the rest of our lives sitting in our chairs not doing anything; not at all!

 

However, what I am saying is that the Word of God makes it very clear that we are not to worry or be anxious about anything because such is to not trust God. Everything we go through in this life is a test of our faith. This is why Jesus said, Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30)

 

Whatever you are struggling with today is a test of your faith. God is allowing you to go through this because He wants you to trust Him. Whatever it is, He can do it. If you believe that, then give it up to Him, and DON’T TAKE IT BACK!

 

Remember, this is a faith test. Will you pass the test or will you fail? If you fail you will have to take the test again. In fact, you will have to take the test over and over until you pass it. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5) Stop trying to fix it yourself. You cannot do it. Stop worrying about it. Worrying only brings stress to you and makes you physically sick.

 

Whatever you are afraid of, STOP! Fear is the attack of the enemy. God has not given us the spirit of fear but of Power, Love, and a Sound Mind. (1 Timothy 1:7) Yes, fear is a demonic spirit from the Devil and when we succumb to it, we are not operating in faith.

 

Faith is a choice. We can choose to worry, or we can choose to have faith in God. We can choose to be afraid, or we can choose to have faith in God. We can choose to be bitter, or we can choose to have faith in God. We can choose to be anxious, or we can choose to have faith in God.

 

God has created us all with something called free will. That is our right and ability to make choices. What do you choose?

 

Faith in God will……….turn the tide……...in your life.
