Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.

 

Although we live and operate in the natural realm, the spiritual realm is very real. When God allows us to see things through spiritual eyes, we cannot help but stand amazed at the awesomeness of God.

 

The Spiritual realm consists of two sides: Light and Darkness. Lucifer (Satan) and all his fallen angels and demons operate in the Darkness while God the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and all His Righteous Angels make up the Light. Every human being, although created in the image of God, is born into the Darkness because of the fall of man back in the days of Adam and Eve.

 

It is not God’s Will for anyone to remain in Darkness and spend eternity in Hell, so, out of His great love for humanity, He sent His Only Son to die on the Cross for the sins of the whole world. (John 3:16) Jesus brought Light into the world of darkness.

 

Every person who accepts Jesus as their Savior and Lord carries the Light of Jesus and is called to shine that Light into the darkness. That is our Purpose as born-again believers in Christ Jesus. When we live our lives in such a way that the Light of the Lord Jesus Christ shines brightly, others will be drawn to that Light. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

 

People live and operate in the dark. They stumble and fall because they cannot see. The ONLY way to stop this is by the Light of Christ. When we live in such a way that the Light of Jesus shines through us, others will see what is available to them. They will understand that they don’t have to live in the dark, constantly stumbling and falling all the time. They will come to the realization that there is Light in this dark world and they can have it too.

 

When we do this and people understand it, we see an immediate change in them. The revelation that Jesus gave His Life for them so they can live in Victory over sin becomes evident on their face. At that point, we have in effect, flipped the light switch in the spiritual world around them.

 

This is no different than flipping the light switch in a pitch-black room and immediately we can see everything very clearly. We are called to flip the light switch for people. Jesus is the Light of the world and we are those who flip the switch for those who live in darkness. What an honor! What a Blessing! Hallelujah!

 

The Light of the World will…..…….turn the tide……….in the world of darkness.
