Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the Liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

 

As our list of Benefits for the born again believer in Christ grows, I can’t help but be overwhelmed by the Love, Grace and Mercy of God. What an awesome God we serve! Thus far in this study, our list consists of FORGIVENESS, HEALING, DELIVERANCE, LOVING KINDNESS, MERCY, PROVISION, AUTHORITY, POWER, RIGHTEOUSNESS, JUDGMENT, INSTRUCTION, TEACHING, GUIDANCE and PROTECTION. As I have said so many times already, this is just the beginning; only the tip of the iceberg!

 

Today we will add the Benefit of FREEDOM! Those of us who live in America and other nations of the free world, understand the concept of freedom and unfortunately, most of us take it for granted. Just as a side note, I would warn you about this because the many freedoms we are accustomed to are slipping away by the day. It is our responsibility to maintain them and our Constitution gives us the authority to do so. Never forget that this document begins with the words: WE THE PEOPLE……...

 

The Benefit of FREEDOM for the believer is that of Spiritual Freedom. This Freedom affords us the ability to take control of our Spiritual being and cast out any demonic spiritual intruders that seek to invade or overtake us. The Blood shed by Jesus on the Cross of Calvary guarantees total Liberty and Freedom for all who choose to believe.

 

His Finished Work on the Cross gives us the Authority to use His Name in our quest for FREEDOM. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)

 

As is the case with all the Benefits for Believers, we have to use them. They are all available to us but we must apply them to our lives. The Name of Jesus is the most powerful tool for the believer. Speak His Name and believe in the Power it holds. FREEDOM from the attack of the enemy awaits you but it’s up to you to use what Jesus died for you to have.

 

As Paul wrote to the Galatians, you can Stand fast therefore in the Liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.(Galatians 5:1) or you can be weak and powerless against the enemy. It’s your choice. As for me……..I CHOOSE TO STAND and SPEAK HIS MIGHTY NAME!

 

The Name of Jesus will……….turn the tide……….but it’s up to us to speak it.
