Daniel 10:12-13 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, your words were heard, and I am come for your words. But the prince of the Kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the Chief Princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
Since the time God banished Lucifer from Heaven, war in the spirit world has taken place. Throughout the Bible, we find this. Nothing has changed. The spirits, fallen angels, and Righteous Angels are at war today and it is fierce!
What we are experiencing in America today is spiritual warfare. When we study the 10th Chapter of Daniel we get a clear picture of how this takes place. Daniel prayed and fasted for twenty-one days. Finally, he received a Visitation and Word from God through the Archangel, Michael.
In Verse 13 we read: the prince of the Kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: “the prince of the Kingdom of Persia” was a fallen angel who fought against Michael for three weeks. Please note the Words spoken to Daniel when he finally arrived. Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, your words were heard, and I am come for your words.
From the first day Daniel began to pray, his words were heard. Michael fought the prince of the Kingdom of Persia to get through to Daniel. How spirit beings fight, we do not know, but obviously, they do. One of the Chief Princes came to help Michael. Here we can begin to see that the spirit world is a powerful, organized “army” if you will, on both sides.
Do not ever discount what is happening in the spirit world. Spirits, both Good and evil, operate through people. The spiritual influence on our lives is powerful. Daniel sought God through prayer and fasting for three weeks. He never faltered. He prayed through a spiritual battle that he did not even know was going on. The important part is: He continued to pray.
We must be praying and we must continue to pray. The Body of Christ in America must be revived! The fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much! Wherever you are…..PRAY for our country. The Church has been asleep at the wheel for a long time; several decades. During this time the demonic spirits have possessed the lost and attacked many who claim to be Christians. This is what has happened to the Church and unfortunately, our nation has followed.
We must wake up the Church and it starts with each Christian. Be bold in your faith. Stand for the Ten Commandments! Pray in public places in the Name of Jesus. Speak His Name. We must reclaim our country! The time is now! We are here for such a time as this! Let us do what we have been called to do.
