God's Correction

Matthew 23:33 You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to Hell?

Out of all the churches written about in the 2nd and 3rd Chapters of Revelation, the Laodicean church most closely reflects the modern church of today. Jesus is not at all pleased with those who operate like the Laodiceans. His rebuke is strong and His Promise is true.

Like the Laodiceans, most people just go to church every week out of habit or ritual. They live and operate totally in the natural and never witness any supernatural moving of the Holy Spirit. The messages given by the Pastors are weak, shallow, and without substance. They give the people what they want rather than what they need.

The common name for churches like this is “seeker sensitive” because the leaders are far more sensitive to those sitting in the audience than the Holy Spirit. Therein lies the problem with the church today and not only will those attending suffer the Judgment of God, the preachers, teachers, and leaders of those churches will come under much stricter Judgment. My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. (James 3:1)

Recently, I heard a man give his testimony of a dream he had. In his dream, from above, he had a clear view of Hell. He could see the flames of the fire flashing up and the horrified faces of all the people in the fire. Then, in his dream, a man appeared who had been sent to Hell. This man began grabbing others in Hell by the hair of their heads. One by one he picked them up, looked at their face, and then threw them back down. After watching this for a while, the dreamer turned to God and asked Him, “What is that man doing?” God answered, “He is looking for the preacher that lied and did not tell him the Truth.”

My friends, you may not like everything I write in these Morning Messages but I seek to tell you the Truth of the Word of God as the Holy Spirit leads me. It’s not always what we want to hear, but it is what we NEED to hear.

Jesus stood before the Pharisees and Sadducees and openly called them out. These men were teaching the people falsehoods and Jesus said to them, You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to Hell? (Matthew 23:33) Let us seek the Truth of the Word of God even when it brings conviction because For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives. (Hebrews 12:6)

When Jesus returns to……..….turn the tide ……….He will not listen to excuses.

I welcome the Lord’s correction,         Doreen
