Acts 5:29 We ought to obey God rather than men.

 

Throughout the Bible, we read of people who chose to obey God rather than man. This is something we are all confronted with on a daily basis but most of the time, we don’t even realize it.

 

We all seek the approval of other people but how many truly seek the approval of God? I would venture to say that most people don’t choose to obey God because they don’t know what God wants them to do. As I have written here hundreds of times, God has a Plan and a Purpose for each one of us. However, if you don’t know what His Plan is, how can you follow it?

 

Many believers fall into this category. They love God and believe in Jesus but they are wandering through life with no direction because they don’t know what God wants them to do. These folks seek guidance and direction from other people and that’s what they do. This is not advisable because in many (if not most) cases, other people do not want the best for them. They want the best for themselves and will use other people to further uplift their own position whether it be in the world or in the Kingdom of God.

 

You may have heard it said, “If God gives you a vision, He will give you the provision to see it through.” This is easy to quote but is it merely a cliche? No, it is not just a cliché. God will provide for that which He has for us to do. The problem is, most of what we do is not what God has for us, but that which other people have instructed us to do or think we should be doing. God will not provide for the work of man.

 

The Holy Spirit will drop a vision into our spirit. What do we do with it? Most people are so excited they immediately start talking about it to other people and that’s their first mistake! This is GOD’S Plan for you. How do other people know how you should proceed? They don’t. Only God knows so, ask Him!

 

God will give you every detail of His Plan if you ask Him and not other people. He is the Architect of His Plan for your life. People who give you advice need to be seeking God for His Plan for them and stop interfering with what God has planned for you. Seek God yourself. You can go straight to the Top. God is there. He is waiting for you to seek Him for all the details. Seek and ye shall find.

 

We cannot obey a voice we do not hear. Therefore, hear the Voice of God today: Shhhh! Be still and know that I am God. (Psalms 46:10)

 

 

Hush! Listen. God wants to….….turn the tide ……….in your life.
