Lamentations 3:23 Great is Thy faithfulness

 

Today is Thanksgiving Day in America. The Word of God instructs us to ALWAYS give thanks to God the Father in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:20) We have so much to be thankful for and most of us don’t stop to be grateful for all that God has done for us.

 

This year has been exceptionally hard on a lot of people. Many of our loved ones have been sick and died but through it all, we must remain thankful. A friend of mine recently lost her husband and on her facebook page she wrote about how wonderful the Lord had been to her. She had the faith to look past the pain and hurt and see the Glory of the Lord shining through.

 

On this day as you gather together with family and friends, be thankful. Give God all the Glory and Praise for all He has done and is doing in your life. Never lose sight of the fact that no matter our circumstances, God is at work doing something good. Everything He does is good and for our good. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

 

And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore, I will offer sacrifices of joy in His Tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. (Psalms 27:6) God inhabits the praises of His people. We are the Temple of God. Let us offer sacrifices of joy in the Temple today. Great is Thy faithfulness.

 

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father. There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not as Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be. Great is Thy faithfulness! “Great is Thy faithfulness!” Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!

 

Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, Join with all nature in manifold witness To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. “Great is Thy faithfulness!” Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!

 

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide; Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! “Great is Thy faithfulness!” Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!

 

Be thankful. He is about to……….turn the tide
