Great Tribulation And Judgment
January 29, 2024, 3:00 AM

Matthew 24:21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, o, nor ever shall be.

In our study of Eschatology (the End Times) we have found that the next event to happen on the End Times Timeline will be the Rapture of the Church followed by the appearance of the Antichrist. (See Morning Messages dated January 27th and 28th, 2024)

Within a short time, the Great Tribulation will begin. This is a seven-year period when God will pour out His Judgment on sinful humanity. Jesus spoke about this and it was recorded by Matthew. We find this in the 24th Chapter of the Gospel of Matthew.

The Antichrist will rule over the earth during the Great Tribulation. The Church will be in Heaven with Jesus having been Raptured sometime before. It is believed by many theologians (and I agree) that during this time the Judgment Seat of Christ will take place.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians about the Judgment Seat of Christ. For we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. (1 Corinthians 5:10) At this time, believers will receive their rewards based on what they did for the Kingdom of God during their lifetime.

This is NOT a time of judgment because as believers in the shed Blood of Christ, all our sins have been forgiven and forgotten. As far as the East is from the West, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:12) Rather, this is when we will each stand before Jesus and give account for what we have done to build and better the Kingdom of God. It is, if you will, a reward ceremony for believers while those left behind will suffer the Judgment of God on earth through the Great Tribulation.

God gives every human being something called free will. This is our ability to choose to accept Jesus or reject Him. As long as we are alive on this earth, we have the ability to accept Him and trust Him as our Lord and Savior. There are no second chances after death. Today is the day of Salvation. If you do not know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, accept Him today. He loves you and stands ready to receive you into His Kingdom.

Only Jesus can……..….turn the tide………...in your life.

Thank you Jesus,         Doreen
