Psalms 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof. The world and those who dwell therein.

 

For the past several days we have been studying the Person of the Holy Spirit and His place as the Third Person of the Godhead. What I would like for you to understand today is that the entire universe belongs to God. It is His Creation; all of it, including the Earth and every living thing. God knows every flower that blooms and every tree that grows. He knows every animal on earth, every fish in the seas, and every bird that flies overhead. Every living thing belongs to Him because He created them all.

 

God placed the planets in His universe including the sun and the moon to bring forth light. He also put each and every star in the sky and gave them all a name. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. (Genesis 1:16) Men are still discovering more and more galaxies of planets and stars that God created in the beginning.

 

The greatest of God’s Creation is mankind. He has created every single person who has ever lived and who will ever live. That includes you. You are God’s Creation. He knows everything about you. He Planned the day you would be born and the day you will die. He knows the number of hairs on your head. There is nothing about you that your Creator does not know and you are valued by Him more than any living creature on earth. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. (Luke 12:7)

 

We are all His Creation. He created us each with a distinct purpose and we each fit into His Plan for His World. The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof. The world and those who dwell therein. (Psalm 24:1)

 

It is God’s Will that every single person on earth be saved and spend eternity in Heaven. Therefore, within the heart of every person is the knowledge that He is real. Whether people will admit it or not, they all know God is there somewhere. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the Work that God does from the beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

 

God loves us all so much that He sent His Son to die a horrible death on the Cross of Calvary that we might be saved and spend eternity in Heaven. (John 3:16) This is what God wants for every person on earth but that depends on each of us. He has given us the ability to be obedient to Him or not. This is called free will.

 

He WANTS us to choose to believe in Him and follow Him. He wants us to place our trust in the Finished Work of Jesus on the Cross. He wants to transform us and use each of us in a mighty way to further His Kingdom. God doesn’t need us. He can do anything! He WANTS us. All He asks of any of us is to say yes to Him.

 

You were created by God to do something important on Earth. You are alive at this time to fulfill that Plan. You have been Called and Gifted to do it perfectly. All you have to do is say yes to God. If you will spend time alone with God and seek His Plan and Direction for your life, you will hear Him speak to you. Be still and know that I am God. (Psalm 46:10) Also I heard the Voice of the Lord saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8)

 

 

Say yes to God and He will……….turn the tide……….in your life.
