Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

 

Every person has been created by God. Each one is His masterpiece; unique in nature. There are no two people exactly alike. Think about that for just a moment. In all of human history, there has never been two people the same. He has created billions of human beings and every single one is different. That’s amazing!

 

Likewise, every one of us is created for a specific purpose. However, no one can step into God’s Purpose for their life until they accept God’s Son as their Savior and Lord. Until we are saved we will operate in the flesh, meaning that the sin nature in us will be our guiding force.

 

When we hear the Gospel of Christ and believe that Jesus went to the Cross of Calvary to set us free from sin, we can begin to understand the free Gift of Grace that is available to each of us. Belief in Jesus Christ and Him Crucified is the only way to receive the Grace of God and it is by the Grace of God that we can be all that God created us to be. Bottom line: It all comes down to our belief in Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.

 

This is why Paul said, For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. (1 Corinthians 2:2) Paul was an educated man. Many believe he was the most educated person on earth at that time. He had sat under the best teachers and most learned men on earth. But, after his conversion, he understood that all that knowledge was nothing compared to his understanding of all that Jesus accomplished on the Cross of Calvary.

 

Knowledge and education are good but understanding the Grace of God to totally change people is the most important fact we will ever know. Not only can we know it, but we can also HAVE IT! The Gift of Grace is for you! It is for me! It is for anyone who will choose to believe it. God wants us to want what He created us to be. Jesus suffered and died on the Cross so we can be what God created us to be and accomplish His Purpose for us in His Kingdom.

 

We have to choose which kingdom we want to serve. We are born to serve Satan’s kingdom of darkness but we are saved to serve the Kingdom of God and our King Jesus. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)

 

Once we hear the Gospel of Christ and believe that Jesus died on the Cross for us we have the opportunity to step out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of God; the Light of Jesus Christ. However, this too must be our choice. Just as we CHOOSE to believe in Jesus and Him Crucified, we must CHOOSE to walk in Christ and Him Crucified. Believing is one thing. Walking in that faith is another. By choosing to walk in faith in Christ, God will then begin to mold you and shape you to do all that you were created to do. You are His Masterpiece but you have to choose to be used by Him. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)

 

Choose Christ. God will totally……….turn the tide……..in your life.
