His Table
October 25, 2023, 3:00 AM

1 Corinthians 10:21 You cannot drink the Cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s Table and of the table of demons.

To be sure, the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy people and he especially attacks Christians. The demonic activity in the world today is very high. I believe Satan knows his time is short so he has stepped up the battle against the Kingdom of God. His goal is to destroy as many Christians as possible and he does this through implanting thoughts in our minds.

The Holy Spirit gives us instructions on combating the enemy through the words of the Apostle Paul. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6)

Our spiritual battlefield is in the mind. Satan attacks our minds with thoughts that are not in accordance with God’s Word. They can be thoughts of fear, doubt, unbelief, worry, or anxiety. He also plants thoughts of sin in our minds which cause us to drift off course in our daily walk with Jesus.

All this is spiritual warfare and it is our responsibility to recognize the enemy when he attacks us and exercise the authority we have over him. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19) We have the authority to rebuke and cast out the enemy in the Name of Jesus. However, if we don’t exercise this authority, he will continue to attack us.

Some people like to dabble with the enemy. This is a dangerous position to take and it can cost you everything including your natural life and your eternal life. Do not be foolish. We cannot live with one foot in the Kingdom of God and the other in the kingdom of darkness. God will not tolerate this. The Word of God says You cannot drink the Cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s Table and of the table of demons. (1 Corinthians 10:21)

God creates every human being with free will. This is the ability to make choices for ourselves. Whose cup are you drinking from? Whose table are you sitting at? Your choice in this matter will affect your life now but it also has eternal ramifications.

The Holy Spirit of God is drawing you to His Table. Will you say yes to Him?

Say yes and God will……...….turn the tide……..in your life.
