Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has Anointed Me to……….

 

Jesus told us about the Work of the Holy Spirit in the Last Days. By the way, we are living in the Last Days which began on the Day of Pentecost and will conclude at the end of the Great Tribulation. When Jesus Ascended into Heaven (after His Resurrection) the Holy Spirit came to live in the hearts and lives of believers.

 

Jesus is our Savior and Lord. When He walked this earth, He ministered to people by the Power of the Holy Spirit in Him. Now, we are to continue His Work and do the same. Jesus needed the Holy Spirit and so do we.

 

Without the Power of the Holy Spirit, there is no Ministry. Just as Jesus laid His Hands on people and healed them, we can do the same by the Power of the Holy Spirit in us. Jesus taught people the Gospel and they were saved. We are to do the same by the Power of the Holy Spirit. 30% of Jesus’ Ministry on Earth consisted of casting out demons. Again, we are to do the same but we can only do this by the Power of the Holy Spirit. I repeat, without the Power of the Holy Spirit, there is no Ministry.

 

So, what is going on inside Churches that deny the Power of the Holy Spirit? What are believers in Jesus doing if they reject the Holy Spirit? They say they are trying to reach people for Christ, but without the Holy Spirit, this cannot be done. This is why we see virtually nothing Spiritual happening in most Churches today. There is no Ministry. No one is Saved and born-again. No one is Healed. No one is Delivered from demonic activity in their life.

 

The Ministry of Jesus consisted of people being Saved, Healed and Delivered. That’s it! He did every bit of Ministry by and through the Power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has Anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach Deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. (Luke 4:18)

 

Yes, Jesus was one with the Father but it was the Holy Spirit Who was upon Jesus. The Holy Spirit Anointed Him to accomplish His Ministry. He said it! You just read it! The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has Anointed Me.

 

I implore you today to seek the Power of the Holy Spirit on your life. You have been created for a Purpose by God the Father. (Psalm 139:13-16) Jesus has Called you to a position of Ministry. (Ephesians 4:11) The Holy Spirit has Gifted you with all you need to fulfill what you have been Created and Called to do.

 

To accomplish what God has for you, you must accept and believe in all Three Persons of the Godhead. To reject any one is to reject them all. If you long to see Miracles and people really changed by the Power of God, you must find a place of true Ministry where the Holy Spirit is welcome and allowed to operate as He sees fit.

 

God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh and will soon……….turn the tide
