Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
If Americans could see the spiritual battle that is raging in the heavens above our country, they would not only turn to God, they would RUN to Him and fall on their faces before Him in repentance and utter humility.
This is a subject we seldom hear preached or taught about from the pulpit because most ministers of the Gospel don’t understand it themselves. The Word of God is clear about this, but because it is not politically correct, it is not often spoken about.
All spiritual beings live forever. God created them all before He created human beings. That means they have always been alive and they are alive today. No one knows how many spiritual beings there are but we do know that one-third of them are on Satan’s side and two-thirds are on God’s side. These spirits are those who engage in the battle between good and evil.
Many people depict Righteous Angels as beautiful white creatures with wings that fly around singing all day. While there probably are Righteous Angels leading worship in Heaven, I would venture to say that the majority of God’s Righteous Angels are Spiritual Warriors who continually battle against fallen angels who make up the army of Satan.
The question is: What are demonic angles fighting for? They are fighting to defeat God and claim the entirety of the Kingdom of God which includes people.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. God created every person in His Own Image and does not want anyone to perish condemned to spend eternity in Hell. It is the Will of God for every person on earth to come to repentance, be saved, and spend eternity in Heaven. This is the Will of God.
However, it is the will of Satan that every person dies and goes to Hell. He hates God. He and his demonic spirits and fallen angels fight constantly for the souls of man. He wants you and will do anything he can to get you. Jesus tells us about him in the first part of John 10:10 Satan seeks only to kill, steal and destroy. He is our ruthless enemy who will stop at nothing to rob us of our faith, destroy our testimony, and kill us spiritually.
All human beings are spiritual beings too. Although we have bodies of flesh and blood, we also have a spirit that will live on forever. Our spirit being is the most important part of who we are. The spiritual battle between Righteous Angels and fallen angels is a war to possess human spirits; that us! God wants your spirit to follow Him in Righteousness, but Satan wants your spirit to fall and be condemned to Hell forever.
Never underestimate or deny the spiritual battle that is raging. It is fierce. You must take a side and decide which army you will be a part of. God created you to be on His side. He wants you on His side. Satan wants you on his side too. God has also created you with the free will to choose.
What many people don't understand is that we all MUST choose a side. To say you are neutral is to choose Satan. If you don't choose to belong to Jesus, you belong to Satan by default. Which side do you choose?
When God’s people choose to join His Army, He will……….turn the tide
