Matthew 8:16-17 When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His Word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the Prophet, saying, “Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”

 

All the Benefits for the believer in the shed Blood of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary can be expressed in one word: FREEDOM. Over the past couple of weeks we have listed them individually, but in actuality, FREEDOM, describes them all.

 

FORGIVENESS is the FREEDOM from guilt, shame, death and eternal punishment.

HEALING is the FREEDOM from sickness, pain and disease.

DELIVERANCE is the FREEDOM from the bondage and control of sin.

LOVING KINDNESS is the FREEDOM from hatred, cruelty and meanness.

MERCY is the FREEDOM from condemnation.

PROVISION is the FREEDOM from poverty and lack.

AUTHORITY is the FREEDOM from the lack of confidence.

POWER is the FREEDOM from weakness.

JUDGMENT is the FREEDOM from foolishness and unfairness.

INSTRUCTION and TEACHING is the FREEDOM from ignorance and stupidity.

GUIDANCE is the FREEDOM from confusion.

PROTECTION is the FREEDOM from fear and vulnerability.

 

There are many more Benefits for the believer but to put it in a nutshell, FREEDOM is the Abundant Life Jesus spoke of in John 10:10. As we continue to unveil and reveal the Benefits, everything will appear in one of two categories: Good or evil; Light or darkness; Abundant Life, Freedom or bondage.

 

Jesus suffered and died on the Cross of Calvary that we may have it all. He paid it ALL so we can have it ALL and it all falls into the category of FREEDOM. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. (John 8:36)

 

Your acceptance of this FREEDOM will……….turn the tide……..in your life.
