John 16:15 But who do you say that I am?

Faith in Jesus Christ includes Who He is, What He has done, and Where He is now. Jesus is the Son of the Living God. He took on human flesh and lived a sin-free life on this earth for 33 1/2 years. He performed millions of Miracles during His Life on Earth. He was Crucified on the Cross of Calvary to Atone for the sins of the entire world. He was buried in a borrowed tomb and He rose from the dead on the third day. He is alive and sits at the Right Hand of the Father in Heaven where He makes intercession for believers. One day soon He will be coming back for His Church and He will reign as King over the entire world during the Kingdom Age.

One day in Caesarea Philippi, Jesus asked His Disciples Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am? (John 16:13) They answered Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the Prophets. (John 16:14) By this answer, it’s obvious that the people believed in reincarnation which is not real.

Then, Jesus asked them directly But who do you say that I am? (John 16:15) Simon Peter responded with the correct answer. You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. (John 16:16)

The question Jesus asked His Disciples is relevant today. Who do you say Jesus is? In addition, the question is what did Jesus do, where is Jesus now, and what will He do in the future? The correct answers to all these questions make up our faith in Christ.

You do not have to fully understand everything about Jesus to place your faith in Him. All you need to do is believe in Who He is and What He did. It’s not difficult to believe and be Saved. In fact, Jesus said that it only takes the faith of a little child to be Saved. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it. (Mark 10:15) We must believe in Jesus as a little child believes in their mother and father.

It’s simple faith in Who Jesus is and What Jesus did. When you come to this faith, you will be Saved and born again. Then the Holy Spirit of God will do a great work inside you to totally transform you from the inside, out. God is able to do anything but we must have faith in Jesus Christ.

Who do you say Jesus is? What did Jesus do? Where is Jesus now?

Faith in Christ will………..turn the tide……..in your life!
