John 14:6 No one comes to the Father but by Me.

 

For the past several days we have been discussing the Doctrine of Repentance which is a sound Doctrine and required for one to be Saved. However, Repentance alone is not enough to receive Salvation.

 

People of all different religions believe in repentance. They believe in “a god” and they pray to their god. Muslims pray to Allah, Buddhists pray to Budda, Hindus pray to several gods, and there are many others. However, none of them believe in Jesus Christ. Therefore, although they pray, none of them are Saved.

 

Faith in Jesus Christ is REQUIRED for one to be Saved and born again. One MUST believe that Jesus is the Son of the Living God, that He died on the Cross of Calvary for their sins, and that He rose again on the third day. Anyone who does not believe this, is lost, dying, and headed for eternity in Hell.

 

The twelve-step programs like Alcoholics Anonymous do not lead people to Christ. They encourage their members to believe in a superior being but they do not designate him to be Jesus Christ. Therefore, these groups are nothing more than counseling groups that try to help people.

 

All addiction is sin. God wants us to depend on Him and not on a substance or activity. Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary so we can be set free from all sin. The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has Anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. (Luke 4:18)

 

The only way to be Saved, Healed, and Delivered from addiction and bondage is through faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary. Everything that hinders us in life is sin and separates us from God. Jesus is God’s ONLY remedy for all sin.

 

God loves humanity so much that He Sacrificed His Only Son on the Cross of Calvary. Sin is the problem. Jesus is the Remedy. Faith in anything else will not result in Salvation, Deliverance, or Eternal Life in Heaven. For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have Everlasting Life. (John 3:16)

 

To be Saved you must place your faith in Jesus Christ and His Finished Work on the Cross of Calvary. There is no other way.

 

Faith in Christ Crucified will…...….turn the tide……..in your world.
