Last Words

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them who believe:

It’s human nature to remember the last words someone speaks to us. Their last words remain with us forever. In the last Chapter of the Book of Mark, we read the last Words spoken by Jesus prior to His Ascension into Heaven where He now sits at the Right Hand of God the Father.

We know from the other three Gospels, that Jesus appeared to well over 500 people after His Resurrection. During this time He performed many more Miracles and told those who would listen, what they should do after He is gone.

Most did not believe but those that did recorded His Words and they are included in the Canon of Scripture for future generations. We have His Words. In the closing Chapter of Mark we read: Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into Heaven, and sat down at the Right Hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the Word through the accompanying signs. Amen (Mark 16:14-18)

His instructions to His followers (that’s us) is to Preach the Gospel, cast out demons, and lay hands on the sick. In short, the Ministry of the Church is Salvation, Deliverance, and Healing all of which are supernatural. God is supernatural! There is nothing natural about Him. Everything He does is beyond our comprehension. We are not called to understand but to believe. All who believe will be saved but those who do not believe will be condemned to Hell for all of eternity. I pray you believe.

If you struggle with unbelief, you are being attacked by the enemy. Fear, doubt, and unbelief are demonic spirits that seek to rob us of our faith and ultimately our salvation. Do not be deceived! Take authority over these demons and cast them out of you. Put them under your feet where they belong.

The following is an excerpt from a prior Morning Message. Rise up in the authority you have been given! Repeat these words and believe God! Spirit of doubt and unbelief, I command you to leave me now in the Name of Jesus. You have no place in me. I am a born-again child of God and I believe every Word in the Bible to be true. Therefore, you are trespassing on God’s property and I put you under my feet and crush you like a bug! I loose the Power of the Holy Spirit to rule and reign in my life from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I am led by the Spirit and you have no place here. Thank you Jesus for giving me the Power to rebuke the enemy and all his minions. Thank you for giving me the authority to use your Name in this spiritual war I face every day. In You Jesus, I have victory and for this, I am eternally grateful.

Rise up in faith and God will….…….turn the tide……….in your life.
