Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

 

Without Jesus, we are weak and helpless but when we place our faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary, we are made strong. The Word of God tells us that we have the Mind of Christ and the Strength of Christ.

 

As believers, our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. We have that Blessed Assurance that we are saved. We have been born again. We are not the person we used to be. We are a child of God; a son of God. What more could we ask for?

 

This knowledge brings about perfect Peace no matter the circumstances. There is no need to worry or be anxious about anything. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the Peace of God, that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7-8)

 

Whatever the circumstances are right now, don’t worry about it. Place your faith squarely in all that Jesus accomplished on the Cross of Calvary and believe that God has already orchestrated the answer. He knows what lies ahead. Nothing takes God by surprise. He knows exactly what is happening so let go of it and let Him take hold of it.

 

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5-6) This reminds me of an old song. The chorus says, I’m learning to lean, learning to lean, learning to lean on Jesus. Far more Power than I’ve ever seen, I’m learning to lean on Jesus.

 

Faith in Jesus will……..….turn the tide……….in your life.
