Mark 13:13 You will be hated by all for My Name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Our study of Jesus’ letters to the seven churches has revealed an underlying theme that brings confirmation to the entire Word of God. This theme is faith. Our Salvation, Healing, Deliverance, daily walk with the Lord, and our hope of making Heaven our eternal home is all based upon our faith in Him.

Everything we receive from God is based upon our faith in Him, His Son, and His Finished Work on the Cross of Calvary. This is the essence of our very being. Every story in the Bible is a story of faith in God and His Word.

Some will argue that it’s all about obedience, but without faith, we will not obey Him. We must believe something and/or someone to obey what they say or stand for. When we believe in God and His Plan with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, we will want to live in total obedience to Him.

All the Scriptures about being an overcomer are about faith because it takes faith in God to overcome evil. No one has the willpower or personal strength or fortitude to overcome Satan on their own. It is not possible. God created us to worship Him, believe in Him, and trust in Him. That is faith and that is what we must have to be counted among the overcomers in the end.

The 11th Chapter of the Book of Hebrews is all about faith. It begins with a definition of the word faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) Faith is the result of what we believe. When we believe something we will have faith in it whether or not we can see it, hear it, smell it, or feel it.

The second Verse tells us that people have powerful testimonies because of their faith. For by it (faith) the elders obtained a good testimony. (Hebrews 11:2) The writer then goes on to tell of some people who stood fast in their faith in the midst of trials and tribulations. In every case, their testimony is based upon their faith in God and because of their faith, they were Saved.

All God requires of us is faith in Him and the Finished Work of His Son on the Cross of Calvary. Without this faith, we are lost, dying, and headed for an eternity in Hell. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Place your faith squarely in Christ and His Finished Work on the Cross. This is God’s Plan for us to be Saved, Healed, and Delivered. Without faith in Him, we are nothing but when we have faith in God, we will overcome the world and be able to endure until the end. Praise God!

Faith in Christ will…...….turn the tide……….in your life.
