1 Corinthians 2:16 But we have the mind of Christ.

 

In his letter to the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul wrote that believers have the mind of Christ. That is quite a statement! It means that when we place our full faith and trust in the Finished Work of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary, the Holy Spirit will give us the ability to think as Jesus thinks.

 

Because the Holy Spirit dwells within us, we CAN think like Jesus. However, first, we must surrender our minds and thoughts to God. The Holy Spirit will never force us to do anything. We have all been given the free will to make decisions for our own lives. If we give up our old mind, the Holy Spirit will give us a new one.

 

Jesus said But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. (John 14:26) We have direct access to Jesus through the Holy Spirit who will bring to our memory the Words of Jesus. This is how we can have the mind of Christ.

 

Every believer has the Power of the Holy Spirit operating within them. As we maintain our faith in all the Jesus accomplished on the Cross of Calvary, we can overcome all that the enemy attacks us with. Nothing he has is greater than the Work of Jesus on the Cross.

 

Speaking of Jesus’ Finished Work, the Apostle Paul wrote Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. (Colossians 2:15) In addition, Jesus said Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19)

 

To sum this up, as believers, we have the Power of the Holy Spirit inside us to help us get our lives in order AND remind us of everything Jesus said and did. We actually have direct access to the Mind of Christ! This is why Paul wrote But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16) Hallelujah!

 

 

Give up and the Holy Spirit will……….turn the tide……..in your life!
