Romans 11:36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.

 

The many Names and Titles of Jesus help us to understand all that He is in our lives. The more we study and learn about Him the more we will understand what is available to us through our relationship with Him. Paul wrote For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.

 

With that said, let’s continue with our study of the Names and Titles of Jesus.

 

CAPTAIN OF SALVATION: For it became Him, for Whom are all things, and by Whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto Glory, to make the Captain of their Salvation perfect through sufferings. (Hebrews 2:10)

 

CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD: And He said, Nay; but as Captain of the Host of the Lord am I now come. (Joshua 5:14)

 

CHIEF CORNERSTONE: And are built upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone; (Ephesians 2:20)

 

CHIEF SHEPHERD: And when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a Crown of Glory that fades not away. (1 Peter 5:4)

 

CHRIST (THE): But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through His Name. (John 20:31) There are 19 Verses of Scripture declaring Jesus to be The Christ.

 

CHRIST: Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as His mother, Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 1:18) There are 552 Verses that proclaim the Name Jesus Christ.

 

CHRIST JESUS: Being Justified freely by His Grace through the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:24) There are 58 Verses referring to Him as Christ Jesus.

 

CORNERSTONE: Jesus said unto them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? (Matthew 21:42)

 

Once again we have reached the bottom of the page for today. I find it amazing how many Names and Titles have been given to Jesus throughout the Scriptures. These Names and Titles provide a description of Who and What He is to those who believe in Him. As Paul said, For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever.
