Acts 4:12 And there is Salvation in no one else, for there is no other Name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

 

The more we study the Names and Titles given to Jesus in the Word of God, the more we understand Who He is and the all-important part He plays in our lives. Without Him, there is no way to God, the Father. As we will see by the following list of Names, Jesus is absolutely everything we need in this life.

 

DOOR OF THE SHEEP: Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the Door of the sheep.

 

ELECT OF GOD: Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine Elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon Him: He shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

 

EMMANUEL: Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His Name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Matthew 1:23)

 

ENSIGN OF THE PEOPLE: And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an Ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and His rest shall be glorious. (Isaiah 11:10)

 

ETERNAL KING: Now unto the King Eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honored and glory forever and ever. Amen (1 Timothy 1:17)

 

EVERLASTING FATHER: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

 

EVERLASTING LIGHT: Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine Everlasting Light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. (Isaiah 60:20)

 

Every attribute of God the Father is made manifest in Jesus. He is our everything. Without Him we are nothing. Without Him we have nothing. Is Jesus the Lord of your life? Is He your King? Do you worship Him and only Him? If you die today are you absolutely certain you will spend eternity in Heaven with Him? I pray your answer to all these questions is “yes.” If not, contact me. Don’t wait another day. Today is the day of Salvation.
