God’s Plan for humanity and His universe is playing out exactly as He planned it. His whole Plan is right there in His Word for everyone to read. Every Prophesy in the Bible either has or will, come to pass.

 

Sit at My Right Hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool. David spoke this Prophecy some 3,000 years ago. Peter repeated it 2,000 years ago on the Day of Pentecost. Jesus is currently sitting at the Right Hand of the Father in Heaven. He will remain there until God brings to fulfillment the rest of the Prophecy.

 

We have been given the Power of the Holy Spirit to put the enemy under our feet. Our ability to do this is a Benefit of the Finished Work of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. John wrote, For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)

 

One day Satan will be under the Feet of Jesus but this will not take place until after the seven year Great Tribulation. At that time, Jesus will come back to rule and reign over the entire world as King. This is what is known as the Kingdom Age and will last for 1,000 years. What a wonderful time that will be!

 

The Great Tribulation will be a horrible time on Earth. I do not believe true born-again believers in Christ will be left here on Earth to go through this. God has always provided a way out for His people. The Apostle Paul addressed this in his letter to the Thessalonians. But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk and drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet of hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another just as you also are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11)

 

Allow me to draw your attention specifically to Verse 9: For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, I believe this is our Promise from God that we will not have to suffer through the Great Tribulation. If you are truly saved and born again, you are a child of the Light. Your name is written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life and you will be taken up in the Rapture of the Church which could take place any day. All the other Prophecies have been fulfilled. I pray you are ready to go and will not be left behind.
