Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

 

All people are created by God and in the heart of every person, God implants the knowing that He is real. Everyone searches for God because deep down inside, they know He is out there somewhere.

 

Due to the fall of Adam, all people are also born with the sin nature. We are all subject to sin because of the sin nature within us. Every person on earth is sinful and deceitful in search of God and Righteousness. The old man is hateful and sinful. The new man seeks God and Righteousness. This is the struggle inside everyone until they find the answer: Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.

 

We are all born the old man with the potential of being the new man. Every person on earth can be saved and born again. The old man must die so the new man can be born. It is impossible to be the new man and love God, yet at the same time live a life of sin. Jesus said No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)

 

No one has to struggle through life as the old man and a slave to sin. The Apostle Paul said it perfectly. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His Death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His Resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. Romans 6:5-6.

 

Jesus went to the Cross of Calvary to make it possible for everyone to be saved and become the new man. This is why He took the beating and was crucified. He did it so we don’t have to live as the old man. He did it so we can bury the old man and rise up in the newness of life the new man!

 

This is the Good News of the Gospel of Christ! This is what Christianity is all about and it's available to anyone and everyone who chooses to believe it. For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have Everlasting Life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:16-17)

 

God sent Jesus to……….turn the tide……….in this world.
