Hebrews 7:25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

 

For the past several days we have been discussing the Trinity; the Three Persons of the Godhead. They are, God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Three of them work hand in hand to bring about God’s Plan and Purpose for His Kingdom. Whether we know it or not, we are all a part of that Plan. God has a work for each and every one of us to do and it is part of His Plan for His universe. Our part in all this is to be obedient.

 

Yesterday, we discussed the Work of the Holy Spirit in our lives to communicate to us and work through us to do the Will of the Father. The Holy Spirit is the Power Source of God. He gets things done in our lives for the benefit of the Kingdom of God.

 

Every born again believer is in the midst of a three-way communication plan put in place by Father God. The Word of God tells us that Jesus is now sitting at the Right Hand of the Father making intercession for us. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25)

 

We know that due to the sin nature in all of us, we cannot directly communicate with God the Father. We can, however, go to God through His Son, Jesus. He said, whatever you ask the Father in My Name may He give you. (John 15:16)

 

Therefore, try to picture this: A Triangle with God the Father at the top. On the left corner is Jesus and on the right corner is the Holy Spirit. We are in the middle between Jesus and the Holy Spirit. God is the Provider of all things but we have been instructed to ask in Jesus Name.

 

Hypothetical scenario: We have a need. We absolutely believe God can meet that need so, we pray to God the Father IN THE NAME OF JESUS for our need. Jesus hears our prayer and makes intercession to God the Father on our behalf. God will then (at His discretion) give the Holy Spirit permission to Work a Miracle in our life.

 

God has put in place a specific Order for everything in the universe. We are to be obedient to His Order. His Ways are Perfect. We would be well advised to become aware of His Order and live accordingly. Whatever your need, God is able to meet it. Jesus told us this! With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

 

Jesus also said: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. He who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him! (Matthew 7:7-11)

 

God wants the best for us but we must go about asking in the right way; His Way. Take it to Jesus and ask Him to intercede for you with God the Father. Then, watch and listen for the Holy Spirit to respond.

 

Obedience to God’s Order will……….turn the tide……..in your life.
