After the Second Coming of Christ, Jesus will set up His Kingdom on Earth with Jerusalem being the capital city. With Jesus as King, there will be total Peace on Earth for 1,000 years. Satan will be locked up during this time so there will be no demonic activity. Earth will once again be as God first created it in the beginning.
There are many Passages of Scripture describing this wonderful time. Below is a sampling of what the Word of God says on the subject of the Kingdom Age which is also known as the Millennium and the Messianic Age.
Prior to Jesus’ Birth, the Angel Gabriel told Mary about Jesus’ Kingdom. The Lord God will give Him the Throne of His father David, and He will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; His Kingdom will never end. (Luke 1:32-33)
Jesus told of this time. When the Son of Man comes in His Glory, and all the Angels with Him, He will sit on His Glorious Throne. (Matthew 25:31)
And He has on His Robe and on His thigh a Name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:16)
The Prophet Isaiah received a Prophecy from the Holy Spirit about life during the Kingdom Age. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My Holy Mountain, for the Earth shall be full of the Knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. (Isaiah 11:6-9)
The Kingdom Age will be a time of total peace on Earth. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. (Micah 4:3)
The Earth shall lack nothing but enjoy abundance. The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the Glory of the Lord, the excellency of our God. (Isaiah 35:1-2)
Divine Healing will sweep around the world. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be upstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing. (Isaiah 35:5-6)
The Joy of the Lord will be prevalent. For you shall go out with Joy, and be led out with Peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. (Isaiah 55:12)
Those who are truly Saved and born again will live on Earth during this glorious time. Just imagine 1,000 years of Peace on Earth. Hallelujah!
At the Second Coming Jesus will totally………..turn the tide……..on Earth!
