Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

 

As we continue our study of God’s Plan and Pattern for His Church, we find the necessity of the Body to be gathered together in one accord. This has to do with the common condition of their hearts and their faith in the Finished Work of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary.

 

Our study of the Book of Acts has revealed that when the people are gathered together in one accord, the Holy Spirit of God is welcome to Minister to the people as He sees fit. Their faith in Christ Crucified, joined together, creates the atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to work. The result will always be the same.

 

When the Holy Spirit is allowed to minister and operate people are drawn to God and Saved. They undergo the process of being born again which we know is of utmost importance. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

 

In addition, people will be Baptized with the Holy Spirit which will give them the Power to minister to others. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:31)

 

When the Holy Spirit of God is Present and allowed to Minister, we see Signs, Wonders, Healings, and Miracles. God also bearing them witness, both with Signs and Wonders, and with divers Miracles, and Gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own Will. (Hebrews 4:2)

 

These Miracles, Signs, and Wonders will include demons being cast out of people. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:8)

 

All this happened through the Power of the Holy Spirit through the Ministry of Jesus here on earth. Likewise, when born-again believers are filled with the Holy Spirit, they too are used as an instrument of God to bring about Miracles, Signs, and Wonders and great things shall be done to build the Kingdom of God. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women. (Acts 5:14)

 

Never allow someone to tell you that God no longer uses people to perform Miracles. Jesus said, And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, ad they will recover. (Mark 16:17-18)

 

When the Holy Spirit of God is given permission, He will…...….turn the tide
