John 14:25-26 These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

 

Many believers do not envision the Holy Spirit as a Person, but He is! He is not a “force” or “supernatural energy” as some teach. He is a Person. He is, in fact, the Third Person of the Godhead as we explained previously. The Holy Spirit is the Power Source of God. It is the Holy Spirit that Teaches, Guides, Counsels, and Corrects the believer.

 

Our faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross, transforms our body into the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Our faith in Christ Crucified opens the door for the Holy Spirit to come in and take up residence inside us. He wants us to accept Him because if we do, He will transform every part of our being. He will transform us into the “new man” the Apostle Paul wrote about. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the Mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Do not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect Will of God. (Romans 12:1-2) THIS is the Work of the Holy Spirit in the life of EVERY born-again believer in Christ and it’s all for our good!

 

Some things the Holy Spirit just changes and we don’t even realize it. He will remove certain unholy desires or habits without us even asking. Of course, we can override the Holy Spirit and do anything we want, but when we come to the awareness that something has changed inside us and we don’t know how it happened, that gives us reason to believe in the Power of the Holy Spirit Who dwells within us.

 

Unfortunately, many believers do not give the Holy Spirit the credit He deserves for the changes He has made in their life. They know they’ve been changed and they know they didn’t do it themselves, but they do not credit the Holy Spirit with the Miracle. Why? Because they have been taught to not believe in the Holy Spirit.

 

My friends, there is no such thing as coincidence. What you may see as such is actually a Miracle performed on your behalf. These things do not happen by chance or happenstance. They are all the Work of the Holy Spirit in our lives to bring about the changes that are needed or cause us to meet someone or hear something that will bring about that change.

 

If you are a born-again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, welcome the Holy Spirit into your life and give yourself over to Him. He has so much to Teach you. He has great things for you to say and do. He has so much for you that I cannot even begin to write it all down. All I know is He is living inside you and He wants the very best for you. Let Him have His way in your life and you will never be sorry, nor will you ever look back.

 

The Holy Spirit is the Power of God to….….turn the tide ……..in your life.
