John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
We all want to live our lives pleasing to God. We want to be close to Him and be assured of our Salvation. To be close to God is no different than being close to someone else. This is to have a personal relationship with them which requires spending time together; talking with each other; learning about one another.
All learning about God comes to us through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit. That is a part of His “job description” if you will. The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, Guide, Helper, Counselor, and the Power Source of God. It is He Who will lead us into all Truth and Guide our every step and everything about the Holy Spirit will remind us of the Ministry and Finished Work of Christ on the Cross.
A person can know about Christ without knowing Him personally. I am afraid this is the condition of the majority of people today. The ONLY way to know Christ personally is to listen and obey the Teaching and Guidance of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. (John 14:26)
Without the Holy Spirit in our lives, we will just wander around hoping to make it to Heaven someday. We don’t have to live this way. God does not want us to just wander through life hoping we are right with Him. He wants us to know, that we know, that we are Saved and born-again. This “knowing” only comes to us through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit. We must be open to His Teaching and Correction in our lives. Every bit of the Teaching of the Holy Spirit will take us right back to the Word of God and the Cross of Christ.
To know God is to know His Son, Who is the Word of God. The Two are One and the same and they cannot be separated. Nor can we separate the Holy Spirit from the Father and the Son. The Three Persons of the Godhead are inseparable. They are One operating in distinct Positions set in place by the Father.
Many people have tried to separate them and choose one over the other, but that does not work. To have a personal relationship with God is to know the Word, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and the Father. God Almighty set this in place and no person will ever change it. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate. (Matthew 19:6)
Time is short. God is about to……….turn the tide
