Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

 

God and His Angels are real. Many think of Angels as beautiful heavenly beings that fly around in beautiful costumes. This is a falsehood! God's Angels are mighty warriors who fight for the Lord God Almighty and His Kingdom of Righteousness. Their enemy is Satan and his demonic angels who fell from Heaven with him way back when he was kicked out of God's Kingdom.

 

Ezekiel 28:16-17 By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you.

 

One-third of the angels chose to leave Heaven and go with Lucifer, Satan. No one knows how many angels God created in the beginning, but we can be sure that there are legions upon legions of angelic beings in the Heavenly Host. Therefore, if one-third of this huge number went with Satan, they are, in fact, a mighty force.

 

However, two-thirds remained with God and are those who convey messages to God’s people, protect us, and fight on behalf of the Kingdom of God.

 

These two groups of spiritual beings make up those who fight and have been fighting for the souls of people since the fall of Adam and Eve. It is an ongoing spiritual battle that is fierce and has power over the lives of ALL people on earth.

 

I believe Ephesians 6:12 describes this spiritual warfare better than any other in the Word of God. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. There are evil (demonic) spirits (fallen angels) fighting God’s Angels for the souls of people, families, communities, nations, and the entire world.

 

Perhaps you have heard it said, “As the Church goes, so goes the nation.” It is a historic fact that where the Word of God and the Church have been the dominating force, we find peace, contentment, and prosperity. This is what we have seen in America since our inception as a nation BECAUSE God blesses those who honor Him and His Kingdom.

On the other hand, in countries that lift up and worship false gods and idols, we see contention, strife, poverty, famine, and disease. Satan is hatred and where hatred rules nations, the people live in total fear. We have seen this in communist countries throughout history. Hitler’s Germany is a perfect example as is Communist Russia and China. Also, in countries where the Nation of Islam is the primary religion we see total tyranny. Hatred of mankind rules these nations and people live in continuous fear. These nations are ruled by powerful demonic spirits. Where evil is the predominating force, the people are tortured and terrorized. There is no peace, liberty, or freedom in such places.

 

Unfortunately, this is a subject not spoken of from the Church pulpits anymore. Many clergymen are afraid it will scare the people when in actuality, if they were informed about spiritual warfare, it would bring peace and confidence to their hearts because God’s Kingdom is FAR more powerful than that of Satan. The problem is, most people, including Christians, don’t know anything about it.

 

As believers in Christ, we are on the winning side! It’s really no contest, but it is real and it is ongoing. We cannot let our guard down because that‘s exactly what the enemy is watching for. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)

 

In these Last Days, Satan is fighting harder than ever before. He knows time is short. He wants to destroy as many lives as he can before Jesus returns. WAKE UP, my friends. It’s time to sound the alarm! There will be a great shaking of the earth. The battle has raged for centuries. It is escalating now. I pray you are on the Right Side. Do not ignore what is happening and the signs of the times. The tide will turn. God is in control. Be ready!
