Romans 11:26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;

 

Peter and John stood before the Sanhedrin and told them exactly everything they needed to know about Jesus so they too may be saved and delivered from the bondage of sin. Peter was a true Evangelist. It didn’t matter who his audience was, he spoke the Truth of the Gospel of Christ. That’s all that really mattered to him.

 

In Acts 4:12 we read: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. The Jewish people were still holding fast to the Law that had held them captive for centuries.

 

Although they knew (and believed) the Words of the Prophets of Old, they did not recognize Jesus as their Messiah. The Name Jesus means Salvation and Deliverance. He is Savior and Deliverer to anyone who will believe in Him and place their faith in His Finished Work on the Cross of Calvary.

 

Everything about Jesus fulfilled the Words of the Prophets of Old and yet, they still rejected Him. Much of the modern church is in this same state of rejection. While they may accept Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins (Salvation) they do not accept Him as their Deliverer from any and all bondage.

 

Faith in Christ brings total freedom! Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1) This “yoke of bondage” is not limited to victory over sin. Deliverance is victory from poverty, ignorance, superstition, and all attack of the enemy.

 

Jesus is our Savior and our Deliverer. He willingly went to the Cross of Calvary so we can be BOTH Saved and Delivered from any and all bondage. Nothing the enemy can throw at us is beyond the shed Blood of Christ. NOTHING!

 

Our walk with Christ is all about BELIEVING what Jesus accomplished on the Cross of Calvary. He is everything we will ever need. He poured out His Life’s Blood so we can be Delivered from Satan’s grasp on our lives. Your faith in Him today will cause all those chains to just fall off and you can walk out from under them like they were not even there. This is the Freedom and Liberty Paul wrote of. Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

 

Only believe. Only believe. All things are possible, only believe. Only Believe. Only Believe. All things are possible, only believe. May the Lord Bless you today as you walk in faith in Christ.
